Recreation Pilot Licence

Must be 14 years of age to obtain a Student Pilot Permit, 16 years of age to apply for the Recreational Pilot Permit.
Possess prior to solo a category 4, 3 or 1 medical certificate.
Must successfully complete and pass a written examination and a flight test.
Complete a minimum of 25 hours total flight time, consisting of a minimum of 15 hours dual and a minimum of 5 hours solo.
Candidates should but are not required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of ground school instruction.
