Seaplane Rating

Candidates shall complete a minimum of 7 hours total flight time, consisting of a minimum of 5 hours dual and a minimum of 5 takeoffs and landing as sole occupant of the aeroplane.
To complete you must demonstrate a level of skill specified in the Instructor Guide – Seaplane Rating (TP12668).
Must hold a Valid licence or Permit - Recreational Pilot Permit (RPP) or higher licence, PPL, CPL, ATPL – Aeroplane.
Must hold a Valid Medical.

The following exercises shall be included in the seaplane training: Taxing, Sailing, Docking, Takeoffs, and Landings and as conditions exist, operations on glassy water, rough water and in crosswind conditions.
